Controversial New Doc Reveals How Michelle Rodriguez Coped with Paul Walker's Death
Michelle Rodriguez will next be seen in a documentary she's producing that seeks "ancient wisdom technology hidden in nature for centuries," which the film's makers believe could provide the answer to most of the world's biggest modern-day problems, from addiction to depression to climate change.
"The Reality of Truth," directed by Mike "Zappy" Zapolin and Lauren Levy, features Michelle, Zapolin, and others, guided by Deepak Chopra, exploring everything from meditation to plants on their international quest to transcend the boundaries of the human mind.
Rodriguez is shown using the plant Ayanhuasca in Peru and saying, "It brought the destruction of everything I've ever known... I had an awakening." In the film, she talks about how this new awareness helped her cope with the loss of her great friend and co-star Paul Walker.
The film is marketed as being a threat to various "governments, religious institutions, and corporations," and features input from some of the most celebrated and controversial thinkers of all time, including Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Joel Osteen, Marianne Williamson, and many more.
