Jennifer Aniston Shares Funny Text Jimmy Kimmel Sent His Wife During Plane Emergency
Jennifer Aniston is talking about that scary emergency landing her plane was forced to make in February.
Friends like Courteney Cox and Jimmy Kimmel's wife Molly McNearney surprised the star with a girls' trip to Mexico for her 50th birthday, but their plane was forced to turn around after losing a tire.
Aniston opened up about the scary incident on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” recalling how they heard an explosion on the runway but didn't know it was an emergency until a few hours into the flight.
"Everybody starts texting all of a sudden their spouses and their children and I'm like, 'What's going on?'" she told Kimmel.
While Molly was sending loving messages to Jimmy and their children, Aniston revealed he responded with a hilarious text.
He wrote, "I just signed up for Tinder but I PROMISE not to activate it until we know what's what.” The star even included a shirtless selfie!
Jimmy insisted, "I was trying to lighten the mood."
Back in February, “Extra” caught up with Courteney, who said she was “really scared.”
Cox revealed, “I'm not afraid of flying at all... my dad was a pilot… but I was really scared, because when we were taking off, we heard this really loud bang and I was like, 'Oh, that sounds like we should probably check that tire.'”
She continued, “There was no tire at all, there was no wheel. Luckily, there are two wheels on each side and two in the front. I have to say, we were in the air for four hours, burning off fuel and just thought of what it is going to be like when we land… It was a really smooth landing.”
Courteney added, “I sent a little text to Coco, 'I love you,' I didn't say why, and to Johnny [McDaid]… I told him everything that was going on and I FaceTimed him after.”
