First Pic! Maren Morris Welcomes Baby Boy Hayes

Country singer Maren Morris, 29, is a mom for the first time!

On Monday, Morris gave birth to a baby boy, her first child with husband Ryan Hurd. Along with a precious photo of her bundle of joy, she wrote on Instagram, “Hayes Andrew Hurd. 3/23/20. Love of our lives. ✨💕.”

Ryan also shared some photos of himself holding Hayes.

A few months ago, “Extra's” Alecia Davis spoke with Maren and Ryan at the Country Music Awards, where he dished on her pregnancy cravings. He shared, “She misses margaritas — that's what she misses.”

Maren admitted, “I do miss that.”

Ryan commented, “So that's not a craving, but she tells me a lot, 'I just wish I could have a margarita.'"

Maren joked, “He tells me that he's gonna bring me a margarita from Bar Taco to the delivery room.”

Aside from not being able to drink a margarita, Maren said she is feeling “great,” adding, “I've been feeling some kicks today, so I feel like he's dancing around in there to all the country music that he's heard at rehearsals.”

The pair announced they were expecting in October. At the time, she wrote on Instagram, “The irony is just too rich that after a year of living in the GIRL headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out. See you in 2020, little one. 👶🏻.”

Last year, Morris expressed her desire to have kids. She told People magazine, “If you're gonna get married, you have to have those talks beforehand anyways, and I definitely know that I want a family, and he would be such an amazing dad; he's such a kid himself. Morris already had babies on the brain in 2018. When a Twitter user asked if she was going to have kids, she tweeted during a Q&A, “I literally have it blocked out on my calendar next year.”
