The Disturbing Sexual Assault Claims Against Antonio Brown, as He Denies Allegations
There are new accusations against NFL player Antonio Brown, just days after he signed a $15-million contract with the New England Patriots.
A personal trainer named Britney Taylor has accused him of sexual assault, while the star says their interaction was consensual. He has not been charged with a crime.
The accusations are shocking. Taylor claims in a civil lawsuit that Brown sexually assaulted her three times in 2017 and 2018.
According to the 15-page lawsuit, she says in June 2017, Brown exposed himself and kissed her without consent. Taylor also claims he masturbated without her knowledge and ejaculated on her back without consent later that month. She has explicit text exchanges with Antonio regarding the incident. She also alleges that during a third incident, he “forcibly raped” her at his Miami home in May 2018.
In the docs, obtained by “Extra,” Taylor names herself as the accuser. We've now learned she is a former gymnast who competed at Louisiana State University and at Central Michigan University, where Brown played college football.
In a statement to “Extra,” Taylor says, “Speaking out removes the shame that I have felt for the past year and places it on the person responsible for my rape.”
Brown's lawyer Darren Heitner released a statement saying he “denies each and every allegation” in the lawsuit. Taylor says she has passed a polygraph test.
There are rumors that Brown could be suspended from the NFL. Brown is set to practice with the Patriots today. ESPN posted a statement from the team that said, "We are aware of the civil lawsuit that was filed earlier today against Antonio Brown, as well as the response by Antonio's representatives. We take these allegations very seriously. Under no circumstances does this organization condone sexual violence or assault. The league has informed us that they will be investigating. We will have no further comment while that investigation takes place."
Antonio made headlines with an off-the-rails summer. He burned his feet in a cryogenic chamber, and angered the Raiders when he threatened not to play unless he could wear his own helmet.
The drama comes after Antonio, who has three children with longtime girlfriend Chelsie Kryss, competed on “Dancing with the Stars” and “The Masked Singer.”
So far, no court date has been set in the case.
