Kim Richards Arrested for Shoplifting at Target
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kim Richards, 50, was arrested Sunday for shoplifting.
Richards was suspected of stepping out of a Target store with a cart full of items, worth nearly $600, in the San Fernando Valley. The store's security team reportedly spotted her leaving with the items and put her under citizen's arrest.
On Monday, Kim was released on $5,000 bail and charged with a misdemeanor after spending the night at the Van Nuys Jail.
Kim was reportedly homeless and living out of her car before her shoplifting offense, according to TMZ.
This isn't Kim's first run-in with the law. In April, she was arrested on charges of public intoxication, battery, and resisting arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel, which was followed by a brief stint in rehab.
