First People’s Choice Award Attendees Announced, Plus: Fifth Harmony to Perform
The People's Choice Awards announced the first confirmed attendees for the show. Robert Downey Jr., Adam Rodriguez, Bill Paxton, Victoria Justice and Ruby Rose will all take the stage to hand out statues to the winners.
Also announced today, internationally acclaimed group Fifth Harmony will take the stage for the first time as a foursome, after Camila Cabello left the group late last month. Group member Normani Kordei said of the performance, “I'm incredibly grateful to start the New Year off by performing at People's Choice Awards. We have such a special performance for our fans. I'm stoked — it's lit!”
Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Normani are nominated for a People's Choice Award for Favorite Group, the same award they won in 2016.
Joel McHale will host the show, which hands out awards based on voting by fans, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. There will be 64 awards given out, spanning television, music, movies and digital.
The People's Choice Awards airs January 18 on CBS.
