Kanye West Speaks Out on Taylor Swift & Kimye Snapchat Drama
More than a week after Kanye West's wife, Kim Kardashian, posted the infamous phone conversation between himself and Taylor Swift, he is throwing more shade at the “Shake It Off” singer.
On Wednesday, he boasted at Drake's Summer Sixteen tour stop in Chicago, "I am so glad my wife has Snapchat, 'cause now y'all can know the truth.”
Before rapping his “Famous” verse about Taylor, the surprise performer told the crowd, "And can't nobody talk sh*t about Ye no more!” It was the first time West had addressed the Snapchat videos.
After the release of the video, a close source of Swift slammed Kanye, telling People, "For seven years, Kanye has continued to attack Taylor, attempting to incite hatred for her at his live shows and on social media, even going so far as portraying her naked in his most recent music video.”
Along with a Taylor likeness, Kanye also had representations of Kim, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Donald Trump, George W. Bush, Amber Rose, and Caitlyn Jenner portrayed naked in the “Famous” video. He said in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, "I love nudity. And I love beautiful shapes. I feel like it's almost a Renaissance thing, a painting, a modern version of a painting. I think it's important for Kim to have her figure."
Kim and Kanye are also on the cover of the issue, which hits stands on August 16.
