Shia LaBeouf In Trouble with the Law Over Altercation This Summer

Actor Shia LaBeouf has been hit with battery and petty theft charges following an incident in L.A. in June, reports TMZ.
Law enforcement sources claim that Shia and a man were involved in a verbal confrontation that turned physical before LaBeouf took off the man's hat and left with it.
The man filed a police report, and Shia is now facing two misdemeanor charges.
TMZ reached out to the “Honey Boy” actor, but he has not responded.
