Chilling First Look at 'O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession?'

A chilling lost interview with O.J. Simpson will finally see the light of day.

On March 11, FOX will air “O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession?,” featuring a wide-ranging 2006 interview with the former NFL player.

In the sit-down, which was filmed in conjunction with the release of the book "If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer,” O.J. tells producer and host Judith Regan what might have happened the night his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman were murdered.

In 1995, Simpson was infamously found not guilty of killing Brown and Goldman the year before. In 1997, he lost a civil lawsuit that found him responsible for their murders.

Sources tell TMZ that the FOX special will include hypothetical talk of an accomplice in the murders, but he doesn't name names.

In response to the interview, Simpson's attorney Malcolm P. LaVergne said in a statement to "Extra" on Friday, "It's worth noting the evergreen power of Mr. Simpson's continuing fame and celebrity in that Fox is paying homage to Mr. Simpson by choosing his material to compete with the 'American Idol' juggernaut."

O.J. will not make any money from the FOX show and sources tell “Extra” the Brown and Goldman families approve of the special.

This past October, the onetime football star walked out of a Nevada prison a free man after serving nine years on an unrelated case involving kidnapping, armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. He now resides in Las Vegas.
