Don Lemon’s Sister Dead at 58

CNN anchor Don Lemon has been faced with a family tragedy.
On Wednesday, Lemon's sister L'Tanya “Leisa” Lemon Grimes passed away at the age of 58, due to accidental drowning.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that Grimes fell into a neighborhood pond while she was fishing in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. Officials don't suspect foul play in her death.
After news broke about her passing, Lemon tweeted, “Thanks everyone for your words of sympathy. Please keep my family in your prayers. Leisa was my oldest sister & partner in crime growing up. Always had my back. #RIPbigSis.”
On Thursday, Don also posted a video of children discussing black excellence, which “lifted” his spirits.
Lemon took a night off from “CNN Tonight” following his sister's unexpected death.
