See How Olivia Newton-John Shut Down Reports She Has Weeks to Live
Olivia Newton-John is taking on rumors that she only has weeks to live.
The 70-year-old actress tweeted a video on Wednesday to let fans know she's “doing great.”
Reports claimed that she was on her deathbed as she battled stage 4 breast cancer that had spread to her back.

Newton-John responded with a cheery message, telling fans, “Happy New Year, everyone! I just want to say the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated, to quote a very famous quote, and I'm doing great and I want to wish all of you the happiest, healthiest 2019 that's possible.”
The “Grease” star continued, “Thank you all for the wonderful love and support for me and for my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness Centre in Melbourne, Australia.”

Olivia first battled breast cancer in 1992, and went into remission. In May 2017 she revealed that her breast cancer had returned and spread to her back. In September, she told Australia's “Sunday Night” program that the cancer resurfaced in her shoulder in 2013, though she had never gone public with the diagnosis.
