Sharon Osbourne’s First Words on Ozzy Split Rumors
Sharon Osbourne returned to “The Talk” today amid rumors she and husband Ozzy Osbourne have split after 33 years of marriage.
Although Sharon had been avoiding all media surrounding the split and stayed home from “The Talk” on Monday, she was ready to take on the breakup news on Tuesday.
Osbourne started by thanking her fans, saying, “I honestly, honestly, cannot thank people enough for backing me, for saying they love me, for everybody here at my home supporting me, sending me messages of love… I honestly, honestly am empowered and I have found this inner strength.”
When Julie Chen asked if it was just a rumor that she kicked Ozzy out, Sharon answered, “No, it's true,” adding that now “he's back and I'm out of the house.”
Sharon explained that she doesn't know what's next for her. “I honestly at this point today have no idea what I'm going to be doing with the rest of my life.”
Sara Gilbert pointed out that Sharon and Ozzy have had their ups and downs in the past, asking what is different this time around. Osbourne responded, “Because I'm 63 years of age and I can't keep living like this.”
Sharon admitted they are on speaking terms and there is still love there. “I spoke to him last night. I'm, you know, not with him but I speak to him,” she said, adding, “I love Ozzy dearly. He's given me an unbelievable life. He's given me three gorgeous children.”
Julie asked if they might stay together. Osbourne answered, “I honestly don't know. At this point, I cannot answer that because I don't know what I want.”
Sharon chose not to address the rumors that Ozzy cheated with a celebrity hairstylist, but did opt for lemonade instead of coffee, paying homage to Beyoncé's album about infidelity.
Her daughter Kelly also showed support, posting an Instagram photo with a lemon and adding the caption, “Guess who's turning 🍋's into #lemonade?Guess who's turning 🍋's into #lemonade?”

Ozzy has yet to take on the breakup reports, but he did set the record straight about his sobriety, telling E! News, "I have been sober for three and a quarter years. I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate.”
