Blake Shelton Dishes on Thanksgiving Plans
“The Voice” coach Blake Shelton is ready for Thanksgiving!
He told reporters after Monday's show that he will be “deer hunting Thanksgiving morning, and I'll be eating Thanksgiving dinner at lunch. And I'll be deer hunting again by Thanksgiving evening.”
We can only assume that wife Miranda Lambert will be by his side. Last year, they tweeted about their Thanksgiving hunting trip. Miranda even shot a wild hog with her bow and arrow.
This year Blake says they will be smoking a turkey, along with trying a Trisha Yearwood recipe.
Shelton explained, “[We are] going to smoke a turkey and then going to do the old Trisha Yearwood recipe, which is you turn the oven on to 500 degrees. Let it get to 500. Then you put the turkey in. Leave it in for an hour, and then turn the oven off. And then get it out the next morning.”
Blake's buddy Adam Levine was less specific about his plans, saying, "I'm looking forward to hanging out with my family."
"Extra's" Renee Bargh was hanging out with Adam and Blake after "The Voice," getting their hilarious take on People magazine's newest sexiest man alive, "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth who took the title from Adam.
