The Hoff: My Reality Show 'May Be Too Normal'
David Hasselhoff and daughters Hayley, 18, and Taylor-Ann 20, are letting it all out as cameras roll for their new A&E reality show, "The Hasselhoffs" -- and they're telling "Extra's" AJ Calloway what audiences can expect from the filial realness.
"It's not as goofy as the Osmonds. It's not as crazy as the Kardashians... it may be too normal," the former "Baywatch" hunk said of his foray into life as TV.
Taylor said they decided to bring cameras into their home in order to change the media's depiction of their family. "I feel like there's such a misconception of our family in the tabloids and everything," she explained.
The media hasn't always been kind to Hasselhoff, but he said he has tough skin. "The girls will read something that's really bad and they're like, 'Dad, you should sue them, that's ridiculous...' we can't sue everybody. That's one of the things you learn in this business. You gotta have a tough skin and move on," said the actor.
It can't be easy having a famous father. The Hoff told AJ, "Taylor was at the University of Arizona and they'd say, 'What's your name?' and she'd say Taylor Hasselhoff, and the whole student body would turn around."
"The Hasselhoffs" premieres this Sunday, December 5 at 10:00 PM PST on A&E.
