A few weeks ago, pop star Britney Spears enjoyed a Hawaiian vacation and shared snaps on social media, but it wasn't as perfect as it seemed.

While chatting on the phone with Radio One DJ Scott Mills on Wednesday, Spears revealed that she "almost drowned” when she was catching some waves on the vacay. She said, "I went out and I thought it was like a wave pool, and I was like, 'This is so nice and refreshing and just beautiful.' But the thing I didn't think about is when you come back, the waves really come in hard. I got sucked under for like five minutes.” Listen here!
She went on, "And I'm like, 'Where is my security? They're just going to let me die here.' And then I came in again and another wave took me under.”
Britney made light of the situation, saying, “It was fun to say the least. I got to experience what it was like to be taken down by a six-foot wave."
Aside from telling her terrifying story, Britney also chatted about the Super Bowl and if she would accept the gig if she was offered. She said, "I would have to have a little support group, another artist, of course. I don't think you would ever do the Super Bowl alone. That would be kind of scary."
Back in 2001, Britney performed at the Super Bowl with Justin Timberlake, *NSYNC, and Aerosmith.
Spears has been promoting her latest single “Make Me…” and her new album “Glory."
