Comedian Amy Schumer is hosting the event for the first time EVER, and is sure to bring along her unapologetic sense of humor to the stage. Kelly Osbourne returns to MTV to co-host the red carpet in her first TV gig since leaving E!'s “Fashion Police,” along with Jessie J, Josh Horowitz, and Christina Garibaldi.
“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “The Fault in Our Stars” and “Neighbors” are the most nominated movies this year. Tune in to see who goes home with the Golden Popcorn, and don't miss all the possible red carpet reunions including all the Avengers possibly on the same stage, Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, and Miles Teller, and tons more.
Shailene Woodley will be honored with the MTV Trailblazer Award, and comedian and actor Kevin Hart will be the lucky recipient of the Comedic Genius Award. Robert Downey Jr. will be honored with the Generation Award for his incredible body of work in the film and television industry.
"Extra" special correspondent Steve Santagati was on the red carpet catching up with Jennifer Lopez, who was rocking a Versace dress with a plunging neckline. Jennifer broke down her outfit, and also explained how another Versace dress she wore helped Google create their Image Search.
