Katy Perry Praises Taylor Swift as Great Example to Others

“American Idol” judge Katy Perry took center stage at the amfAR gala last night, but it was her words about Taylor Swift that are making headlines.
The two were reportedly feuding in the past, but Perry recently liked one of Taylor's political Instagram posts. Variety's Marc Malkin asked Katy why she liked the post.
Katy praised Taylor for speaking up about the importance of voting, saying she liked the post because “she's setting such a great example.”
Perry, who was an honoree at the fundraiser for AIDS research and HIV prevention, attended the event with boyfriend Orlando Bloom. Other stars at the bash included Heidi Klum, Kat Graham and Rumer Willis.
