Madonna & Lady Gaga Visit LGBTQ Youth Center Over Thanksgiving
On Thanksgiving, the LGBTQ youth at Brooklyn's Ali Forney Center received a surprise visit from pop icon Madonna!
The Queen of Pop posted a jubilant pic of herself with the kids of the Center (and her own kids, David and Mercy), writing, "Had so much fun sharing Thanksgiving at the Ali Forney Center in Brooklyn! This center protects LGBT Youth from the harms of homelessness and empowers them to reclaim their lives. Each year the Ali Forney Center provides care for over 1,200 youth who are rejected by their family due to their LGBT identity. AFC provides these youth with tools they need to become independent and more importantly, AFC provides these youth with the love and support they are denied by their families. Because everyone deserves to be loved and everyone deserves a home."

Less than 24 hours later, Lady Gaga also stopped by the Center, performing an acoustic version of her new song "A Million Reasons" for everyone and reportedly handing out gifts. She finished her performance by telling her audience, "I love you guys so, so much."
Neither visit was announced in advance.
The Center's stated mission is "to protect LGBTQ youths from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently."
