Jamie Foxx Admits He Teared Up Over Daughter Corinne’s Debut
On Tuesday, Extra's Tanika Ray was on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of the new thriller “47 Meters Down: Uncaged,” which is the big-screen debut for Corinne Foxx and Sistine Rose Stallone, the daughters of Jamie Foxx and Sylvester Stallone.
In the movie, Corinne and Sistine play women trying to survive a battle against sharks while trapped in underwater cages.
Beaming with pride, Jamie shared how emotional he was, telling Tanika, “I'm crying in the car. I don't know what to do. I got butterflies. This is amazing. My baby did great. She's so humble, she won't tell you she had to learn how to scuba dive, she had to learn all these things on the spot and deliver a performance. That's big.”
Jamie also pointed out that Corinne doesn't ride on his coattails, saying, “Even when we did our TV show 'Beat Shazam,' she went in there and got that on her own.”
“I'm just happy about this, happy to see her, what's she's doing,” Foxx emphasized. “To see this, watching our little ones picking it up and doing their thing!”
Tanika also caught up with Corinne at the premiere. Check out the interview below!
“47 Meters Down: Uncaged” is in theaters August 16.
