Jamie Lee Curtis Makes Shocking Revelation About 10-Year Addiction

“Halloween” star Jamie Lee Curtis just made a shocking revelation to People magazine… she struggled with addiction for 10 years.
“I was ahead of the curve of the opiate epidemic,” Curtis said. “I had a 10-year run, stealing, conniving. No one knew. No one.”
Curtis said she became hooked on painkillers after having some minor plastic surgery in 1989. Once her prescription ran out, she would do anything to get more pills, even steal them from friends and family.
Her husband Christopher Guest and children Annie, 31, and Tom, 22, had no idea.
She finally told Guest in 1999, as she began her recovery.
Curtis continues to attend meetings, and said, “In recovery meetings, anyone who brings up opiates, the entire room will turn and look at me, because I'll be like, 'Oh, here, talk to me. I'm the opiate girl.'”
