Bobby Brown Files for Guardianship of Bobbi Kristina
In a potential game-changer for Bobbi Kristina Brown's course of treatment, Bobby Brown has filed to be her guardian. This follows his statements that his daughter was awake and watching him, which her grandmother, Cissy Houston, quickly denied.
Cissy has released a statement on the situation to New York's 11Alive:
"This is a family matter involving sensitive information. We hope to resolve this in a manner that is respectful of Bobbi Kristina's sensitive health information. The Houston family has always looked out for the best interest of Bobbi Kristina Brown. The family has done so all of her life and will continue to do so. We trust that others have the same objective."
If Bobby is successful, he would have control over decisions made regarding his daughter's care and her estate.
Bobbi Kristina has been in a coma in DeKalb Medical Center since January 31. According to Cissy, she has "global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive."
