Raven-Symone Blasts ‘Disgusting Rumor’ Bill Cosby Assaulted Her
Actress Raven-Symone slammed a parody website for claiming she filed molestation charges against her “Cosby Show” co-star Bill Cosby.
After the parody news site Hip Hop Hangover ran the story, Symone wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, "I was NOT taking [sic] advantage of by Mr. Cosby when I was on 'The Cosby Show.' I was practically a baby on that show and this is truly a disgusting rumor that I want no part of! Everyone on that show treated me with nothing but kindness. Now keep me out of this!"
Symone, now 28, played Olivia from 1989-1992 on the hit NBC show.
In the wake of the several sexual allegations against Cosby, which he has denied through his lawyers, NBC scrapped a planned series, Netflix postponed a comedy special, and TV Land pulled repeats of “The Cosby Show” from their lineup.
