Amy Schumer Gets Emotional Over Her Dad’s Dream Meeting with Goldie Hawn

Amy Schumer is having a good week. The comedian attended the Met Gala Monday night, then made her father's dream come true the next day by introducing him to her “Snatched” co-star, Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn.
Last night, “Extra's” AJ Calloway caught up with Amy at a special screening of “Snatched,” where she dished on the emotional meeting, who she got to meet at the Met gala, and the future of her movie with BFF Jennifer Lawrence.
The 35-year-old took to Instagram to share a video of her dad, Gordon, meeting Goldie. In the clip, Schumer asks her dad, “Why are you crying?”

Amy told AJ, “My dad met Goldie. He was crying the whole day. He's been wanting to meet her his whole life. It was heaven.” When Amy was asked about her feelings after arranging the meeting, she said, “As soon as we're off camera tonight, I'm just gonna cry. It was so beautiful.” She added, “It was one of the best moments of my life — getting to see him that happy.”
Amy was happy to be wearing Zac Posen at the Costume Institute Gala, gushing, “I loved every second of it.” She sat at the same table as Rihanna, who was decked out in Rei Kawakubo. Despite RiRi's complex dress, she was still able to move! Amy shared, “I was looking at her to see if she could use her hands. But she was cool. She was the coolest chick in there.”
Schumer was able to meet some of fashion's It girls, saying, “The Hadids are little sweetie pies… And the Kardashians. I got to meet Kendall last night and Kim, we talked and they all were, like, the loveliest people.” Though she was surrounded by A-listers, the actress skipped out on the after-party, explaining, “I have to be comfortable. If I'm in sweatpants and no bra I will drink till 7 in the morning. But if I'm wearing a corset, I'm like, 'Peace.'”
The best news of all: That movie she wrote with Jennifer Lawrence is definitely happening! She declared, “We're ready!” She went on to say, "We both have stuff lined up that were excited about… We can shoot it at any time — it's gonna happen.”
For now, catch Amy in “Snatched,” which hits theaters May 12. She teased, “They're gonna see a comedy that's gonna make them laugh. It's a little dirty, but there's also a beautiful story to it.”
