Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill Talk 'Batman v. Superman,' Ben Reveals Giant Tattoo Is Fake!
“Extra's” Mario Lopez caught up with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill to talk about “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice"… and Ben's giant back tattoo!
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Both stars revealed they had worn their superhero costumes outside of work, with Ben attending son Sam's birthday party as Batman. He said, "He wanted me to wear the outfit for his party and he had a superhero party, so there was a bunch of superheroes.”
Henry called his visit to Times Square as Superman a "social experiment."
When asked what are the pros and cons of being a superhero, Ben shared, “I think Superman has the harder part. I think it's a really hard part to play and that's why sometimes it's successful and sometimes it isn't.It is because you have to make the person, you have to be identifiable. You have to be able to access that person, so the actor has to on one hand be believably invulnerable and all that stuff but also somehow kind of human and I thought Henry did a great job with that.”
Mario also asked Ben about his infamous back tattoo, the one Jennifer Lopez called “awful.” He was spotted with the new ink on the set of “Live by Night.”
Affleck confirmed the massive Phoenix taking flight tat was “fake for a movie,” adding, “I actually do have a number of tattoos… but I try to have them in places where you don't have to do a lot of cover up… they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after awhile.” See the tattoo here.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” opens in theaters March 25.
