Selena Gomez on Dating: ‘I Don’t Trust Anybody'

Singer Selena Gomez has just kicked off her Revival tour and her face is plastered across America on the cover of Marie Claire's June 2016 issue, where she opened up about dating and how her love life can overshadow who she really is.

Selena's on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber has made headlines for years, but how does she feel about dating nowadays? She shared, "I've been dating. I've been having the best time. But I don't trust anybody, so dating can only be fun if I know I'm going to have fun.”

The media frenzy surrounding Selena's love life has often led to frustration for her. She explained, "I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life. I would leave a room feeling defeated, feeling embarrassed, but I would always make sure to put that smile on my face because I wasn't going to let them get to me.”

The 23-year-old has built a successful career over the last decade, but are her managers and agents making all the decisions? She revealed, "Authenticity is my life. They make great choices, but I make the decisions.”
