Michelle Duggar Reveals Newlywed Secrets About Daughter Jill and New Husband
“19 Kids and Counting” matriarch Michelle Duggar says daughter Jill Duggar's marriage to Derick Dillard has been a “very smooth transition.”
Responding to a fan question about the newlyweds, who married in June and are expecting their first child together, the mother of 19 wrote on her blog, "They have their schedule already -- they get up and off to work or Jill works on her studies [to be a midwife]. Sometimes she'll pop by our place since it's awfully quiet at her house. She's so used to studying with noise."
Michelle added that the couple's home is all set and they are already entertaining. "It's so sweet to see them starting their lives and their family together. It was truly the joy of [Jill's] life to marry Derick and they both feel so blessed to have each other. They are just really, really happy to be married and enjoying married life."
Jill's younger sister Jessa just tied the knot with Ben Seewald on November 3. Michelle wrote, "It's just so sweet to watch these guys and girls that are really in love. Love is in the air and it's good for all of us to be around that, even if the little siblings have to go, 'Oh no, they're kissing again, oh my!'?"
