'Dancing with the Stars' Season 29 Cast Revealed
On Wednesday, the Season 29 cast of “Dancing with the Stars” was announced on "Good Morning America"!
The celebrity cast of the ABC favorite will include Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean, “Tiger King” star Carole Baskin, “Selling Sunset” star Chrishell Stause, “The Bachelorette” alum Kaitlyn Bristowe, former NFL player Vernon Davis, Jesse Metcalfe, “Cheer” star Monica Aldama, Anne Heche, Skai Jackson, “One Day at a Time” actress Justina Machado, “The Real” host Jeannie Mai, rapper Nelly, “Catfish” host Nev Schulman, former NBA player Charles Oakley, and Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir.
Last month, it was announced that pro dancers Artem Chigvintsev, Sharna Burgess, Peta Murgatroyd, Val Chmerkovskiy, Cheryl Burke, Keo Motsepe, Jenna Johnson, Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Sasha Farber, Pasha Pashkov, Emma Slater and Gleb Savchenko would be part of the new season.
Pro dancers Britt Stewart and Daniella Karagach will also be making their debut on the show.
In July, it was announced that Tyra Banks would be replacing Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews as sole host of the show. In a statement obtained by "Extra," Tyra said, "I've been a fan of 'DWTS' since its beginning... The fun mixed with raw emotion, seeing celebrities push past their comfort zones, the sizzling dance performances... it's always transported me to my days of turning it up 10 notches on the catwalk."
