American Music Awards Nominations – The Complete List
The nominations for the 2016 American Music Awards have just been announced!
Drake leads the nominations with 13, breaking the record set by Michael Jackson, who had 11 in 1984.
Drake's rumored girlfriend Rihanna received seven nominations, while Justin Bieber and Adele nabbed five. Beyoncé and the Chainsmokers followed closely behind with four.
Joe Jonas and Rachel Platten, both nominees, announced the nominations on “Good Morning America.” Platten was nominated for Favorite Artist in the Adult Contemporary category, sharing," I wish I'd played it a little cooler but I didn't, like, play it cool at all.
