Jennifer Lawrence Talks Working with Rumored BF
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are sharing the big screen in the new movie “Passengers.” The duo sat down with “Extra's” Mario Lopez to talk about the romantic sci-fi thriller and working with each other.
During the interview, JLaw opened up about working with her rumored boyfriend, director Darren Aronofsky. The 26-year-old is set to star in his film “Mother,” admitting to Mario she took the role without seeing a script. “I've always wanted to work with Darren Aronofsky. I've been a huge fan since I've been in the business. When I heard that he had a project, I wanted to be a part of it instantly.” She went on to mention, “So when he pitched me what his ideas were for writing it, I was like, 'in, in, in.'”
As for working together in “Passengers,” both Chris and Jennifer said it was one another's sense of humor they liked best, with Jennifer saying, “We laughed all day. This was a tough shoot — we never saw day light.” Chris added, “It was just the two of us.” Jen continued, “Laughing all day every day was my saving grace.”
In the movie, their characters awake 90 years too soon from an induced hibernation on board a spaceship bound for a new planet. Chris shared what drew him to the movie. “I loved how original it was… It's a big movie, but it's original intellectual property.” JLaw said, “For me, I'm a girl, so it was the love story… I like when movies don't manipulate you to have an opinion of how to feel.”
“Passengers” is in theaters December 21.
