Henry Winkler Remembers Penny Marshall at Golden Globes
“Extra's” Mario Lopez caught up with Henry Winkler and wife Stacey on the red carpet of the Golden Globe Awards, where he was nominated for his role in “Barry.”
The 73-year-old took an Emmy home for “Barry” in 2018. Henry shared, “What I am happy about… I am able to be conscious for all of it, I don't miss an inch of it.”
Stacey added, “I'm loving it for Henry because I think he's so wonderful in this role and I think it's his time.”
Henry also reflected on the recent loss of Penny Marshall, who passed away December 18 at the age of 75. He commented, “I met Penny early, early on in my career in Hollywood… Then she guest-starred on 'Happy Days. What I realized was she was our generation's Lucille Ball — her physical comedy with Cindy (Williams) was unparalleled.”
