Lena Dunham Rushed to the Hospital After Met Gala
After partying the night away at the Met Gala, “Girls” actress and creator Lena Dunham was taken to the emergency room.
People reports that Dunham needed medical attention after experiencing complications from endometriosis.
How's she doing? Another source told E! News, "She's at home resting and doing well.”
Just before leaving the star-studded soiree, Lena posted a pic of herself wearing an Elizabeth Kennedy gown, writing on Instagram, "Dramatic exits #MetGala.”

Though the 30-year-old hasn't commented on her visit to the ER, she has been open about life with endometriosis. In 2015, she wrote an in-depth essay about her struggles with the chronic condition.
Last month, Dunham reported that she was endometriosis-free. She shared on her website Lenny Letter, “My surgery went off without a hitch. There was no endometriosis left. Between my surgeries and hormonal intervention, I was disease-free. That doesn't mean it can never return, but for now, once my sutures have been removed and my bruises have changed… I will be healthy.”
