Queen Latifah Reacts to Clippers Owner Donald Sterling's Remarks
Talk show host Queen Latifah is calling Donald Sterling’s alleged racist remarks “disgusting.”
“Extra” caught up with the singer in NYC on Tuesday at the Matrix Awards. She told us, “It’s a disgusting situation… terrible state of mind to have, to have come this far in time and be that archaic, it’s kind of pathetic, it’s sad.”
Latifah continued, “I just really hope this galvanizes everyone who is a fan of basketball and who has skin that’s my color to actually take that and motivate them to do something about it. I’m definitely not giving them any of my money, which is sad because I love the Clippers as a team, but the owner isn’t not happening, he really put his foot in his mouth with this one, bad job.”
