Pete Davidson Posts Suicidal Note, Ariana Grande Tweets Support

UPDATE: TMZ reports that Ariana Grande attempted to meet up with Pete Davidson at 30 Rock on Saturday, but he refused to see her.

When Kanye West and Drake engaged in their latest Twitter war, Ariana Grande chimed in with a remark that pointed out the pettiness of their sparring vs. her own more productive plans (releasing a single). West clapped back, zinging Ariana for allegedly mocking his mental health to promote a song, a response which did not sit well with her.

She responded, “With all due respect, i don't need to use anyone to promote anything. period. i was making a comment ab what men were doing at the time vs. women. it was a joke which i understand now was probably insensitive.” She apologized for “triggering” West's mental health and wished him well, but soon after, her ex, Pete Davidson, chimed in — and that's where things got dark.

Davidson wrote, "Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health. I can't explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I'm seriously disgusted."

He went on to post an image of a note proclaiming, "I really don't want to be on this earth anymore. I'm doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don't know how much longer I can last. All I've ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so."

Ariana immediately replied, "man i'm so sorry i told a dumb joke. i really didn't mean any harm. all i want everyone to be healthy and happy. so desperately. please. my god." She also promised, "I'm downstairs and I'm not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know u have everyone u need and that's not me, but i'm here too."

As other celebs weighed in, it was reported that Davidson was safe at the "SNL" rehearsal.
