Matt Lauer Reportedly Facing Explosive New Allegations in Ronan Farrow Book
Nearly two years after Matt Lauer's exit from the “Today” show, an explosive New York Post report claims that his accuser is ready to come forward and that there are new allegations of sexual misconduct against the star.
The new information will reportedly be revealed in Pulitzer Prize winner Ronan Farrow's new book “Catch and Kill.”
Lauer was fired by NBC in November 2017 for alleged “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace,” but has denied that anything inappropriate took place.
The anchor was reportedly let go after a woman complained to NBC bosses. The paper says the woman is a former assistant to “Today” co-anchor Meredith Vieira.
Now, a source says she is ready to reveal her identity in Ronan's book.
Meanwhile, the story also claims that “Catch and Kill” details fresh claims of sexual harassment from Lauer accusers who have never spoken out before.
An insider says that Lauer and his team were given the opportunity to comment and fact-check the allegations.

According to the publishers, “Catch and Kill” is about “surveillance and intimidation deployed by wealthy and connected men to threaten journalists, evade accountability and silence victims of abuse… And it's the story of the women who risked everything to expose the truth and spark a global movement.”
“Catch and Kill” will be available October 15.
