Casey Kasem Finally Laid to Rest 6 Months After His Death
Legendary radio DJ Casey Kasem has finally been laid to rest, reports TMZ.
Kasem was buried at the Vestre Gravlund cemetery in Norway on Tuesday following a six-month power struggle between his wife Jean and his children.
TMZ says a small ceremony was held, but it is unknown if Jean was there. His children were not notified of the burial until Dec. 22, nearly a week later.
The LAPD had been investigating Jean for elder abuse, after his children filed a police report against her. It is now unlikely authorities will be able to determine if his bedsores contributed to his death.
