'Frozen's' Josh Gad: Kristen Bell 'Saved My Parents' from Irma
Josh Gad's family in Hollywood, Florida, owes a lot to his "Frozen" co-star Kristen Bell as Hurricane Irma approaches, and he doesn't take it for granted!
“So @kristenanniebell literally saved my parents and my entire family tonight from #hurricaneirma," People magazine reports he Instagrammed Friday night. "When they were stranded in Florida, she got them a hotel room at her hotel in Orlando and saved them, my brothers, my sister-in-law and niece and nephew. They don't make them like this girl. Thank you Kristin."
The picture he posted said it all — a joyous selfie taken by Bell with Gad's happy parents.

Though many Florida residents have evacuated ahead of this weekend's expected beating from category 4 Hurricane Irma, not everyone could make it out in time. Everyone who is left behind is facing challenges in seeking appropriate shelter as hotels become booked solid.
Bell explained on Instagram, "Last run to the store for #irma hurricane holdover prep while bracing down in orlando- we didn't have the option to leave so here we are. Just doing our best and trying to stay positive but cautious, and trying to help those who need help prepping."

Sad that a hurricane has to bring out the best in everyone- but happy that the community will be holding hands through this. Im grateful to Gary and the team at @swandolphin in epcot for helping us feel safe while we get through this together."

Bell also made her way to a middle school, which was being used as a shelter for families. At the school, she sang songs from "Frozen," saying, "I hope maybe some of these songs are running through your head the rest of the day and will take your mind off of it."

Irma was downgraded as it ripped through the Caribbean, but it is still a historically strong hurricane, one of the strongest ever seen in the Atlantic. It will likely hit the Florida Keys early Sunday morning.
