Piers Morgan on Kim Cattrall’s Feud with Sarah Jessica Parker, Plus: Those Omarosa Showmance Claims
Television personality Piers Morgan has never been shy to voice his opinion!
On Thursday, “Extra's” Mark Wright sat down with DailyMail.com's editor-at-large to get his views on Kim Cattrall, Donald Trump and, of course, Omarosa.
In a now-famous interview, Piers sat down with “Sex and the City” star Kim Cattrall last fall on his iTV show "Life Stories," in which Kim shared her true feelings about her former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker. As for what Piers thought of the blockbuster interview, he shared, “In the middle of the interview, Kim began to unload on Sarah Jessica Parker. What I really was aware of was that Kim Cattrall had been storing this up. This had been building for several years and she really was angry with the way she believed Sarah Jessica Parker had treated her, and I have to say, off-camera, she was still raging about it, saying, 'This has been really eating away at me.'”
Piers added, “She was furious and she felt very let down by her. I think Kim feels very let down and betrayed by Sarah. I think she thinks that every time Sarah talks about her in public, it's very disingenuous.”
And what does he think about his friend Donald Trump, who recently granted Morgan his first one-on-one international interview?
Piers said, “Donald Trump has been quite a good friend of mine for 10 years. I got to know him very well. Trump is a very fascinating character. He's not the angel he may want you to believe, he's not the devil that his critics would have you believe either. You're seeing a guy learning on the job. He's literally learning how to be President on the job. He's got a big ego, he's a bit of a narcissistic and he's living in the most powerful house in the world and he's the most powerful man in the world and the entire planet is talking about little else 24/7 than Donald Trump. For him, this is the greatest thing that's ever happened.”
Earlier this month, Piers accused of Omarosa of propositioning him to start a showmance when they were both competing on “Celebrity Apprentice.” Piers said Omarosa told him, "You don't know me, but I think we should have a showmance. On the regular 'Apprentice,' everyone has sex with each other, then you can sell the stories."
Piers says he replied to Omarosa, “Are you completely and utterly deluded? Are you actually suggesting that you and I are going to have a showmance?”
When asked if it was just for the show or for real, Piers admitted, “To be honest, I didn't really want to press too hard, but I feared it was the latter. It was for real, and she was not going to get her hands on this — and I certainly didn't want my hand on that!”
Omarosa has not commented on Piers' accusations.
