Country Wedding! Michael Ray & Carly Pearce Tie the Knot
Country singers Michael Ray, 31, and Carly Pearce, 29, are officially husband and wife!
On Sunday, the couple exchanged vows in front of their close friends and family at Drakewood Farm in Nashville.
Carly told People magazine, “Knowing without a shadow of a doubt that I didn't settle for something less than truly the person that I think was made for me is something that I am thankful for.”
Michael added, “No matter what, I have her in my corner. No matter what, she has me in her corner. I tell her, 'You're never going to face anything alone. Never will there be anything in life that you don't look over and I'm standing beside you.'”

While the couple wanted to have the wedding ceremony outdoors, the rain forced them to move it to a barn. Despite the change, Carly emphasized the vibe was still what they wanted, saying, “Earthy and whimsical and romantic and elements of country.”
Of her Samantha Sleeper wedding dress, Carly shared, “I just wanted a dress that felt very unique to me.”
The wedding was attended by 100 guests, including “Criminal” singer Lindsay Ell. Pearce said, “We really wanted it just to be about the people that know us as Carly and Michael.”
Jake Owen played a special part in the wedding, singing his song “Made for You” as the couple hit the dance floor for their first dance. Michael had asked Jake months ago, saying, “I told him the date, and he immediately went to his calendar, and was like, 'I'm in. I would love to. I've never been a wedding singer before.' So it all worked.”
The couple have to put their honeymoon on hold for a few months since they're in the middle of touring! In December, they'll be enjoying some R&R at Sandals Resort in Jamaica. Carly dished, “We started talking about the honeymoon and he said, 'What's your dream vacation?' And I said, 'I want to stay in one of those over-water bungalows.' So, we're getting an over-water bungalow in Jamaica.”
The wedding comes 10 months after Michael popped the question during a vacation in Tulum.

They started dating in summer of 2018, just a few months before the proposal.
Carly and Michael made it Instagram official in July last year. Along with a pic of them cuddling on a couch at the Grand Ole Opry, she wrote, “And then one random night at the Nashville Palace changed everything. ❤.”
Michael posted the same pic, taken by photographer Rachel Deeb, adding, “One random night over old classic country music at @thenashvillepalace changed everything....”
