The Truth Behind Selena Gomez’s Super Short Bob

On Thursday morning, “Extra's” Terri Seymour caught up with Selena Gomez at We Day California, where Selena broke news about the truth behind her new short do.

Earlier this week, Gomez had the web buzzing after posting a pic of herself with a bob!

On the red carpet, Gomez revealed it was only a wig. She shared, “It was so funny. I was trying on different stuff and I posted a picture cuz i liked the image. Evidently, people thought I cut my hair real short, but it's still the same… it's a little chop."

Would she ever be tempted to go shorter? Selena commented, “I don't know, I'm terrified. I'm going to keep it safe for now.”

Gomez was on hand to host – her fifth time at the event. She shared, “I love that it celebrates what kids are doing. We Day celebrates the fact that kids can come together and put their minds to everything."

As for using her voice to emphasize the importance of self-love and self-empowerment, she said, “If i can use my platform for any goodness, I will do that."
