Carrie Underwood Wears Her Husband's Valentine’s Day Jewels on Grammys Red Carpet
Country powerhouse Carrie Underwood caught up with “Extra's” Tracey Edmonds on the Grammys red carpet before bringing down the house with her performance of “Heartbeat” with Sam Hunt.
Underwood looked stunning in a Nicolas Jebran dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoe, and a diamond-and-ruby necklace, which was a Valentine's Day present from pro hockey player hubby Mike Fisher. She shared, “This was actually a present for Valentine's Day and it's Jonathon Arndt; I'm, like, in my sweatpants making dinner wearing my necklace, ya know? Why save it for special occasions.”
She revealed that she didn't get to spend the holiday with Mike since he is busy playing for the NHL. Carrie admitted she wasn't sure where he was tonight, and then realized he was home. “When we faced timed earlier, he was sitting in his ugly lazy chair.”
While Mike is away, their son Isaiah is currently keeping her company on her tour. The “American Idol” winner is also trying to find time in her tour schedule to make an appearance on the FOX show during its last season. “We're trying to work something out — we kind of had our tour stuff going before we got all that information. I couldn't imagine missing it, so we're gonna figure something out. I want to be there.”
On how how she stays out of the drama in Hollywood, she explained, “I feel like I'm pretty normal… I have normal friends that aren't in the music business… My mom's willing to yell at me.”
