Stars like Zachary Levi helped get the word out, and Affleck answered the call. The actor was in Hawaii at the time, but jumped on a FaceTime call with Mukata.
Ben was so touched by the young fan's story, that when he heard Mukata's mother was unable get from Zimbabwe to Atlanta to see him, he offered to help with travel costs.
After the call, Hospice Atlanta called him “a true superhero in action.”
Despite great effort, Mukata's mother was unable to make it in time, but he was able to Skype with her.
