Ben Affleck Connects with Young Batman Fan with Terminal Cancer
Actor Ben Affleck got to play the caped crusader via FaceTime recently, when he found out a young fan was suffering from terminal cancer.
A hospice in Atlanta put the word out that their young patient Mukata, 11, a refugee from the Congo, was a big Batman fan. They were hoping to secure a costume or find an impersonator to meet with the boy, who had only days to live.
Stars like Zachary Levi helped get the word out, and Affleck answered the call. The actor was in Hawaii at the time, but jumped on a FaceTime call with Mukata.

After the call, Hospice Atlanta called him “a true superhero in action.”
