Video! Olivia Culpo Nearly Faints on the Emmys Red Carpet
The blistering, 98-degree L.A. heat almost got the best of Olivia Culpo at the Emmys on Sunday.
The former Miss USA and Miss Universe nearly fainted on the red carpet during E!'s pre-show.
After she was caught on camera crumpling to the ground, she tweeted, "OMG it is SO HOT out here. Literally just almost passed out."
The 23-year-old, who was treated by medics, followed up the message with another tweet: "When u almost pass out on LIVE TV!?? @GiulianaRancic @helloross @mrbradgoreski its ok I know u would have caught me."
Despite the scare, Culpo looked every bit the beauty queen in a white halter gown with cutout sleeves by Tom Ford, Jimmy Choo shoes, and jewels by Yoko London.
She credited stylist Jennifer Mazur for pulling together the sophisticated look.
Olivia wasn't the only one to faint from the heat; "Extra's" Mario Lopez revealed on Instagram that he saw three people faint.
