Peta Murgatroyd’s Health Scare Forces Her to Miss a Show

Over the weekend, Peta Murgatroyd was unable to perform a show in Grand Prairie, Texas, “due to illness.”
Peta shared on Instagram, “I have never missed a show due to illness in my entire professional dancing career. I woke up feeling a little nauseous but I was able to go about my day with [son] Shai. In the afternoon, the vomiting (and you know what) started.”
Thinking it was food poison, Peta “tried to sleep it off,” but started experiencing chills and a fever. She went on to explain, “I could hardly walk and I couldn't feel my arms or legs.”
Though she took the stage for the opening music number, her “legs were giving out,” forcing her to miss the rest of the show. She said, “Apart from it being very embarrassing, it was very scary.”
Peta was well enough to perform on Sunday in Kansas City.
