Home for Christmas! Teresa Giudice Released from Prison
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice has been released from prison, just in time for Christmas!
After serving one year on a fraud conviction at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, her attorney James Leonard picked up the "Real Housewife" in the early morning on Wednesday.
Leonard told Radar Online hours before the release, “I'm currently in Danbury to take Teresa home to her husband and four daughters. Definitively, Teresa Guidice will be released from DCI Danbury tomorrow, December 23, 2015. She is not in a halfway house, nor will she be reporting to one. She hasn't been released from prison and that won't happen until December 23. The balance of her home confinement will be monitored by the Federal Location Monitoring program.”
Just before being sprung, Teresa fixed herself up in the ladies room at the prison, where she did her makeup, hair, and traded her jumpsuit for a nice set of clothes. A source said to People, "She took a little while to come out so it looked like she took some time to get herself together.”
The insider added, "She wanted to make sure she looked good when she came out.”
Once Giudice arrived to her New Jersey home, she received an early Christmas present from husband Joe – a $90,000 Lexus. The insider shared, "Joe wanted to surprise her with the Lexus. He had a big red bow put on the top of it.”
Teresa's girls were looking forward to her return home and "could hardly sleep last night because they were so excited that their mom was coming home.”
Teresa and Joe will be spending Christmas Eve with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa, who recently dished to “Extra” about what she's cooking for the special occasion. Watch!
