New Details Surrounding Bachelor Nation Star Amanda Stanton’s Arrest
Amanda Stanton's rep Steve Honig is speaking out with new details surrounding the Bachelor Nation star's arrest in Las Vegas.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, it was alleged that Stanton had battered boyfriend Bobby Jacobs in a hotel room. Stanton was arrested on one count of battery domestic violence, and booked at Clark County Detention Center.
Now, Honig tells People magazine that Amanda is “embarrassed” and “ashamed” by the incident and “sincerely apologizes to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department.”
Honig claims Stanton had “a few drinks” at a bachelorette party before the incident. When hotel security was called over a noise complaint, Amanda “got a bit rambunctious.”
“Amanda gave Bobby what she thought was a playful shove; hotel security did their job and reported the incident to the police, who in turn did their job,” Honig explained.
He added, “Despite Bobby explaining this was not an ill-intended shove, the police still had to do their job which Amanda completely respects and understands.”
After the alleged altercation, Stanton and Jacobs posted an Instagram Story pic from a JetSuiteX plane.
Days before the incident, Amanda posted photos from a bachelorette party in Las Vegas with friends Chelsie Paige and Lauren Bushnell.
