Jennifer Hudson Dishes on Michelle Obama’s 50th Birthday Bash
“Extra’s” AJ Calloway sat down with Jennifer Hudson as she helped launch the Carnival Cruise line’s “Carnival LIVE” with a special performance in NYC.
Hudson also talked about attending First Lady Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday party on Sunday with fiancé David Otunga.
Jennifer gushed, “Oh my god, it was so fun. They know how to throw a party.”
Did Hudson bring Mrs. Obama a gift? “What can you give the First Lady other than being there to celebrate her? I brought her a gift, but security said, ‘Ma’am, you want to leave that here please?’ You don’t try it.”
Hudson also recently made headlines for giving her assistant a house for Christmas. “I love taking care of my people. Walter is my longtime assistant and best friend. He’s not just any assistant.”
