'Homeland' Actor Maury Sterling Welcomes First Child at 48
Actor Maury Sterling, who plays Max Piotrowski on “Homeland,” is adding "dad" to his résumé.

Sterling, 48, and his wife Alexis Boozer, 38, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy who they named Ford Bryant. On Tuesday morning, she posted a pic of Maury holding their son, writing on Instagram, “Welcome to our little bear. Ford Bryant Sterling was born this morning at 4:08am. He's healthy and we cannot thank the staff at @cedarssinai for taking amazing care of us as we bring a tiny human into a pandemic. PLEASE LOOK INTO DONATING PPE TO YOUR LOCAL HOSPITAL/CLINIC.”
Just days ago, Maury was prepping for his baby's arrival. He posted an Instagram pic from the hospital, writing, “Was hoping to join all the great #Homeland fans on @twitter tonight, but @alexisboozersterling and I are in the hospital to welcome our son into the world. @showtime @sho_homeland Thank you all for support of the show..”

Alexis also documented their journey as the hospital, tweeting, “I'm not planning on tweeting my entire birth experience, but y'all should know that @MaurySterling is in the hallway doing squats with the @CedarsSinai L&D team.”
It looks like Maury and Alexis celebrated their baby's anticipated arrival at a party in February.

Alexis announced she was pregnant in November. At the time, she posted a series of pics of her baby bump at Cherry Lane Theatre, writing on Instagram, “We debuted more than theatre in NYC over the last month. #BabyBoySterling #March2020.”
