The trip comes amid news that Beth has started chemotherapy for throat cancer. She alluded to the treatment in an Instagram post featuring her blonde hair, with the caption, “#dogwgna history in the making #dogsmostwanted #cancersucks #stayhumblepray #itsonlyhair.”
Dog also shared the news, writing on Facebook, “We are back home in Hawaii. Our new show is coming to WGN America!! Later this year. Aloha.”
He also re-posted a photo of Beth and friends letting fans know they were “back to work.” See it here!
The Chapmans' attorney, Andrew R. Brettler of Lavely & Singer, told Us Weekly, “Beth started chemo for throat cancer last month. The treatments are in L.A. They are going well, but they certainly take their toll on her. The Chapmans have a lot on their plate right now. They just started filming for the new WGN show while Beth's been going through treatment. Hasn't been easy but they are keeping a great outlook and Beth is one of the strongest women I know.”
In late November, Beth was rushed to a hospital after developing a blockage in her throat. After emergency surgery, she learned her throat cancer had returned.
