David Cassidy’s Shocking Confession About His Dementia Revelation
Just weeks before his death, David Cassidy admitted that he lied about having dementia.
In a new A&E documentary “David Cassidy: the Last Session,” airing next week, Cassidy told producer Saralena Weinfield in a recorded call, “I have a liver disease. My life has changed dramatically… There is no sign of me having dementia at this stage of my life. It was complete alcohol poisoning.”
He confessed, “The fact is that I lied about my drinking. I did this to myself to cover up the sadness and the emptiness.”
Last year, David opened up on his battle with dementia, saying, “I was in denial, but a part of me always knew this was coming.”
