Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill Split

Rappers Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have gone their separate ways after two years of dating.

Minaj took to Twitter to confirm the split, tweeting, “Yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u.”

In December, rumors swirled that there was trouble in paradise for Nicki and Meek when he briefly deleted his Instagram and she started posting cryptic messages on social media. One of Nicki's Instagram posts was the quote, "Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth.”

Minaj also posted lyrics from Beyoncé's song “Best Thing I Never Had.”

Earlier last year, during happier times, the two sparked engagement rumors when she would wear sparklers on that hand. In an issue of Nylon, she shared, "I'm not engaged yet. He said that my third ring would be my engagement ring. But sometimes he calls me his fiancée, and I'm always trying to stop him, like, 'Nope! I ain't got that third ring yet!'”

"We're just taking it one step at a time. And, you know, if that happens, if I get married, then I'll have a child, and that'll be fun, because I can't wait to hold my baby,” she went on.
